Sunday Styles no. 72

Can we just take a minute to talk about H&M's sister brand, COS? Say hello to my newest clothing stop. Two things: They opened up their first US store in LA, so they already started off on the right foot. Secondly? They're clothing is gorgeously simple and perfectly tailored for us minimalists.

The quality is impressive and the selection of "I didn't realize I needed this" basics is hard to compete with. Their site aesthetic also helps quite a bit and after getting my first shipment from them...well, let's just say that I felt like I was opening up a gift as opposed to the usual pile of clothing in a bubble wrap sack.

No. The COS package came with perfectly folded tissue paper and minimalist, well-placed circular stickers, a small look book and perfectly folded items, each in its own plastic bag, sealed perfectly. Not a slant or wrinkle in sight. Maybe it's because I'm neurotic, but things like this matter to me.

Anyway, I just wanted to mention them because, hello, new favorite place to shop. How could I not share it with you? (Hint: If you ever don't know what to get me for some occasion, a COS gift card will tickle me pink...or, at the very least, it'll tickle me a minimalist heather grey.)

And with that, today's outfit is a basic white shirt, grey cardigan, black jeans, and sandals. The white shirt (my new fits PERFECTLY and it's so modern, yet totally timeless - obsessed with the structured, oversized collar) and grey, boxy cardigan are from COS. This is one of those outfits that looks difficult to live in, but is surprisingly comfy.

Which is perfect for my plans do nothing. Merlin the pup got his rabies booster yesterday, so he's been feeling under the weather. That gives Charles and I an excuse to bum around the house and play nurse to our ailing dog. I see takeout and Netflix in our future!

Hope you and yours are having a relaxing Sunday sans the worry of a mildly sick dog. xo!

A Note About the Clothes: COS Wide Collar Shirt (no longer available), COS Oversized Wool Cardigan (Grey), A Gold E "Colette" Skinny Jeans (Dark Knights), Zara Leather Platform High Heeled Sandal
