I'm Enthusiastic About: Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker

You know when you see a collaboration out in the world and think, "well, that makes sense."

It's a rare thing, to be sure. I've seen tons of collaborations that have made my head cock so hard to one side that it practically falls off and rolls away under a car (or a couch if I'm indoors.)

So, wasn't I pleasantly surprised when I heard about Warby Parker's newest collab with the beautiful Karlie Kloss being released TODAY. (If you don't know who she is, behold the beauty to the left. Remember this face, because she's going to be one of those legendary models that will probably look just as stunning at 90.)

Also, I may or may not stalk her on Instagram…how can you not?

Let's all admit that this girl has staying power. I feel like if we still lived in the 90's, she would've been in with Helena, Naomi, Cindy, Linda, Kate, and Christy…and this is why I can respect this collab. Because we know this girl and we know that she's got style, she's got grace (she's a lady) and why wouldn't we all want a little bit of that style to call our very own?

Add to that the fact that I'm already a Warby fan. I'll never forget my first try-on box being delivered and the Christmas-morning-like joy I felt when unwrapping those beautiful frames to model at my leisure, snapping selfies and sending them to my husband for a second opinion all afternoon. It was glorious. On top of this awesomeness, their frames are exceptionally affordable and do good. For every pair bought, they provide a pair for someone in need. In short, my favorite company to go to for eyewear, hands down.

Pile on top of this already-goodness (made-up word) the fact that part of the profits from this particular collection will be donated to one of Karlie's favorite organizations - Edible Schoolyard NYC (which provides low-income public schools with kitchens and gardens and teaches students the tools to develop lifelong healthy habits through a hands-on curriculum led by Edible Schoolyard staff) - and you've got yourself a double-whammy of good. Like, SO good. Like, TOO good.

I know what you're thinking…"So, lemme get this straight. I get to help someone who needs glasses, help low-income public school students develop healthy eating habits, and look stylish? THAT IS BANANAS." (Or, at least, that's what I was thinking.)

Now, back to the collection at hand. I'm about the show you these awesome sunglasses, but proceed with caution. The major kicker is this: It's a pretty limited edition collection.

TRANSLATION: You better get on it like a riddle-loving troll on a bridge or they'll go poof (like a riddle-loving troll when you solve the riddle and he needs to let you cross said bridge.)

Are you ready for the gorgeousness? ARE YOU?! Ok. Here we go…

Oh, Clara! Oh, Marple! Oh, Julia!

For those of you who know me, you know I'm a bit of a sunglass fanatic. (See exhibit A.) And though I'm pretty sure aviator-style sunglasses make me look like my face is melting, clearly there are two other options that I can choose from…I dunno, guys. I might just have to snatch a pair of those Clara sunnies in heirloom gold with copper fade lenses. Whatcha think?

If you want to start the summer off right with a little gift for yourself (and for someone in need of glasses and children who need to learn about how to eat healthier), check out the collection right here! I'd love to hear all about it if you end up getting a pair! xo!
