Sunday Styles no. 23

Oh, hello, spring! You're right around the corner, aren't you? With that said, I suppose I should give color another chance because, well, it makes sense, right? So, what better time to come out about my long-time love affair than now.

I'm in love with blue. Cobalt blue to be more specific...madly in love, really.
(I know, I know. I should be wearing Kelly Green for St. Patty's day but I'm not Irish and that green is horrible for my skintone. So, shoot me.)

It all started years ago when I found this bright cobalt blue eyeliner at Sephora and it's been a love-love relationship ever since. So, wasn't I elated when I found these two items (on the same day no less) while doing some shopping in the neighborhood!

So, today's Sunday Style is an homage to two things: Cobalt Blue and Accessories. You really can't go wrong with either of them.

Personally, I find when you're wearing bright accessories, you can up the drama by toning everything else down. My clothing has become the stagehands in the play that is my outfit. Starring Mr. Shoes & Miss Hat.

So, color is back and though you may not see me in head-to-toe floral prints, expect a little more whimsy from me in the coming months. I get spring fever pretty badly, so the season is sure to bring out the best in my sartorial self.

How about you? Finding yourself wearing more color as the weather warms up? Or is it more about a hemline that's slowly creeping up? Whatever the case, hope the coming spring has you excited! In the meantime, have a relaxing Sunday! And if you're Irish, yay! And if you're not, go find an Irish friend and give 'em a kiss on the cheek! xo!

A Note About the Clothes: Cobalt Blue Hat (Found at Anthropologie, but can't locate it on the website - might be in-store only.), Black Button Down w/ Sheer Sleeves (Anthropologie from last year - no longer available), American Apparel Shiny Leggings (Black Eel), Madewell Sidewalk Skimmer in Suede (Crystal Blue)
