Sunday Styles no. 25

Sooo, I've been out of commission for a few days. My lack of Friday post threw me into such a dizzying spiral of guilt, I had to make sure to post today. From all the constant traveling, my body just gave up and the last few days have been me trying to physically recuperate (or what I like to call "playing videogames for many hours on end and eating lots of oranges"...which is the literal definition of what I did for most of this weekend thus far.) I don't know how everyone else is, but flying demolishes me...and frequent flying leaves me crippled.

I'm already feeling a heightened sense of anxiety as I stare at my calendar and realize I'm flying again in less than a week to Japan. (More on this later.) So, in the spirit of keeping things somewhat optimistic-looking (it's Easter afterall, and I could use a chocolate egg or 10), I decided to go with a splash of spring color while staying supremely comfortable.

Also, who doesn't love bunny ears? This particular pair is close to my heart. (It was part of my wedding theme and served me well in a few portraits with Husband Charles...but I'm digressing.)

So, yes, silky, shirts are the epitome of comfort for me and pants with a little stretch don't hurt either. These shooties (yes, I used the word "shootie"...and for those who don't know what it is, it's a boot-shoe) are some of the most comfortable shoes I own...and they have heels. I'm always really dumbfounded as to why they're so comfy, but I can sprint down a NYC street in these with no problem. In fact, I might have an easier time running in these than in straight-up flats. Who knows why? (Rest assured, I'm not some superhero. This isn't the case with other heels I own.)

Can you tell I'm a bit out of it? Anyway, off to enjoy the day. Hoping the overcastness goes away so I can have a relaxing, sunny, Sunday. Time for more bed-rest. Also...

Much love from Mr. Merlin and I! Hope you have a wonderful day! xoxo!
(Sidenote: This image totally looks like an album cover. Ha.)
